Metcalf Summer Experience Grant
Career Advancement supports students pursuing meaningful internship experiences by offering a pool of funding for unpaid, student-sourced internships in industries where employers traditionally do not provide compensation. Funding is available through the University's Jeff Metcalf Internship Program.
To support as many students as possible, the Metcalf Summer Experience Grant is available for summer experiences only.
Because funding is limited and competitive, we encourage all students to develop a parallel plan for securing alternate opportunities. Your career adviser can help you identify additional paid internship options, connect with employers, and develop a strategy that aligns with your goals.
