Social Science Graduate Programs
Career Advancement has developed the Social Sciences Applicant Support Series (SSASS), a program designed to provide tailored and structured support for students applying to Social Sciences graduate programs. Whether you're applying to Masters or Doctoral programs, the series provides resources for all steps of the application process from identifying programs of interest to writing your graduate school statements.
The program will be open for sign-up to rising seniors (Class of 2027) in June 2026.
Participants are invited to attend our programmatic workshops to gain a better understanding of the application process and components. These include:
General Timelines and Requirements
Crafting your Application Statements
Interviews and Making the Most of your Graduate School Experience
Faculty-led sessions sharing insights on how graduate school selection committees evaluate candidates
Adviser support: Students seeking support on their written materials can work with one of our dedicated Social Sciences advisers to craft their narrative and refine their statements.
Peer support: Students are invited to participate in a group peer review, a critical component of the graduate school process. Students will be assigned to groups based on their field of interest and will review each other’s statements to provide and receive feedback from their peers applying to similar programs.
