Contact Nadia Casperson at ncasperson@uchicago.edu to schedule one of these types of programs or create a custom event! Employers are welcome to book on-campus or virtual events.
Information Sessions: One of the best ways to engage with students is through a virtual or in-person information session where you can showcase your organization, introducing students to your workplace, career pathways, and advancement. Most employer sessions are held in the evening after 5pm CT. Typically employers schedule sessions 2-3 weeks prior to first-round interviews.
Coffee Chats: Make connections with students in 1:1 or small group settings. These informal discussions provide a relaxed environment to explore potential fits for your organization and offer valuable industry insights to our student body.
On-Campus Interviews: Our team will guide you in coordinating a seamless interview process by booking and managing day-of interviews.
Challenge students’ skills and creativity through competitions that foster innovation and collaborative solutions. Employers can design their own competition or provide judges and mentors for existing competitions.
To preview sponsorship opportunities and get involved, please contact Nadia Casperson at ncasperson@uchicago.edu. We can partner with you on a custom event or you can sponsor one of the signature programs listed below!

The Job Shadowing Program provides undergraduates the opportunity to explore their career interests by shadowing employer hosts for 1-5 days virtually or in-person. The program offers great flexibility and structures the experience based on your schedule and preferences throughout the academic year or during winter, spring, and summer breaks.
This is a great chance for alumni and friends of the university to support students’ professional development by growing their professional network and exploring their professional interests. You might even find your next intern!
To participate in the program and learn more, please contact careeradvancement@uchicago.edu.
Meet students on your turf and showcase your organization through small group discussions and networking.
Host an immersive experience for a group of 15-25 students on-site for a one-to-two-hour visit. You can shape the visit based on your recruiting needs and opportunities. Common student engagements include an overview of the organization with key representatives, professional opportunities and career pathways, and a Q&A with networking.
The trek program positions you to:
Connect with a select pool of high-achieving students
Build your organization’s brand among UChicago students
Promote internship and full-time job opportunities
Share young professionals’ understanding of the industry and help them prepare
To learn more about the trek program and how you can get involved, please contact Erwin Paderanga at erwinp@uchicago.edu.
