Trott Business Program
Eligibility:
Students apply to the Trott Business Program in the Winter Quarter of their first year at UChicago. Accepted students participate in programming throughout their second, third, and fourth years.
There is no academic major requirement; however, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply. Transfer students and students returning from a leave of absence are also eligible to apply.

Applications are now closed for the Trott Business Program. Trott Business Program applications for the next cycle are expected to open in December 2026.
Financial Markets Program
Eligibility:
Students apply to the Financial Markets Program in Winter Quarter of their first year at the university. Accepted students participate in programming throughout their second, third, and fourth years.
There is no academic major requirement; however, you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply. Transfer students and students returning from a leave of absence are also eligible to apply.

Restructuring Finance Program
Eligibility:
Students can apply into the program prior to their second year and must commit to participating in programming throughout their second and third years.
There is no academic major requirement; however, you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply. Transfer students and students returning from a leave of absence are also eligible to apply (graduation date must be December 2028 or June 2029 for this cycle's applicant pool).

AI in Finance Program
Eligibility:
The program is open to undergraduate students of all class years. All applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in AI and finance along with academic excellence and curiosity.
In addition, students should meet the below prerequisites for the cohort to which they are applying:
Traders Learning Tech Cohort:
Demonstrated interest in finance and/or trading
No coding skills required
Techies Learning Trading Cohort:
Basic Python coding skills
No prior finance knowledge required

Private Equity Program
Eligibility:
Students of any class year are eligible to apply, but the program is best suited for rising second-years to align with undergraduate PE recruiting timelines. Applicants must be willing to commit to the entirety of the one-year program.

Clinical Service Fellows
This year-long program helps first-year students understand what it means to serve patients. Fellows complete 2-4 hours of clinical volunteering each week during the winter, spring, and summer quarters. Volunteer sites include hospitals, clinics, and community organizations, such as Howard Brown Health clinic, in Hyde Park and beyond.
Beyond the Clinic
This year-long program supports students as they explore careers for physicians outside of direct patient care. Each quarter, fellows explore a different general field, including non-patient-facing clinical careers such as pathology, radiology, and anesthesiology, global health careers, and healthcare innovation and administration.
Katen Scholars Program & Careers in Healthcare Fellows
Eligibility:
First, second, and third year students interested in pursuing careers in health, medicine, and science.
Application:
The application for the Katen Scholars program becomes available each October and January through Handshake.
An announcement from the CIH email newsletter will inform students of the application opening.

Scholars in Medicine Program
Scholars in Medicine is a selective three-year program for motivated students committed to a career in medicine. The program supports students who plan to apply "straight through" and attend medical school directly after graduating from the College. Scholars in Medicine offers a holistic curriculum of pre-health programming, including specialized advising, healthcare career treks, and funded summer experiences.
Students apply to Scholars in Medicine during fall quarter of their first year. Applications for the Class of 2030 will be due January 9, 2027.
Law and Politics Program
Eligibility:
One-year program offered to rising second-, third-, and fourth-year students interested in exploring the intersection of careers in politics and the law.
National Security Analytics and Strategic Technology Program
Eligibility:
Open to all students!

Pozen Global Health Scholars
Eligibility:
Open to first, second-, and third-year students and all majors are encouraged to apply.

Kiphart Collegiate Fellows Program
Eligibility:
The Kiphart Collegiate Fellows Program is open to UChicago first, second, and third-year students in the College. Any student interested in pursuing an internship related to global health and social development is eligible to apply.
Application:
Students who apply, receive an offer for and accept Kiphart Fellows internships become members of the Kiphart Collegiate Fellows Program. Search “Kiphart Fellows” on Handshake for application details.
