Led by team members at Google, this two-part career series provides an insider roadmap to breaking into big tech. Sessions will focus on resume and portfolio development, technical interview prep, and Q&A with team members.

October 15: AI Unlocked with Adobe - Register Here
This hands-on workshop is designed for students who are early in their career journey. Led by Adobe team members, you will use AI to turn the things you already do, from class projects and campus involvement to part-time jobs and leadership roles, into strong resume bullets that land with employers. You’ll also explore how your skills and interests connect to different career paths in tech.

Game Jam | January 15-18
All artists, composers, writers, game designers, and programmers are invited to join the UChicago Game Jam! Teams of students will immerse themselves in the design and development process and create an original, playable game. This event is open to undergraduate students of all experience levels! Registration opens in December.
STEM x Finance Challenge | January 15
Code, Cells & Capital: A STEM Deal Challenge. Working in teams, students will evaluate a healthcare or tech acquisition and develop a valuation analysis. Playing the role of investment banker, teams will present their findings to a panel of industry judges. Through this challenge, students will get a closer look at the valuation process and hear from STEM upperclassmen now working in banking. Open to STEM majors curious about finance. No finance experience needed.
The challenge is supported by a generous gift from Ian Somaiya (P'28).
Vibe Coding Hackathon | January 22-24
The Vibe Coding Hackathon features teams of College students from all majors, some who code and some who don't, who use AI Technology to imagine, design, and ship AI-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Registration opens in November.

Learn new technical skills and build a portfolio you can share with employers! The UChicago Tech Showcase has two components: a project work period lasting several weeks and a final showcase where students present on their projects to a panel of expert judges. Open to all class years.
