Competitions
All artists, composers, writers, game designers, and programmers are invited to join the UChicago Game Jam! Teams of students will immerse themselves in the design and development process and create an original, playable game. This event is open to undergraduate students of all experience levels! Registration opens in December.
The Vibe Coding Hackathon (January 22-24, 2027) features teams of College students from all majors, some who code and some who don't, who use AI Technology to imagine, design, and ship AI-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Registration opens in November.
Build your technical portfolio by participating in the UChicago Tech Showcase! There are two components: a project work period lasting several weeks and a final showcase where students present their projects to a panel of expert judges. Applications open in November and May.
