Pritzker Engineering Research Grant

Grant Overview

Students seeking interdisciplinary research experience in engineering disciplines including and outside of molecular engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, agricultural, aerospace) can apply for funding to support their summer research experience through the Pritzker Engineering Research Grant. This grant is designed to support students seeking opportunities at external research organizations, including universities, national labs, and government agencies.

Requirements

  • Resume

  • 750 word Statement of Purpose

  • Offer letter from host organization or principal investigator

  • 1 letter of recommendation (highly recommended)

Eligibility

  • Second-, and third-year College students majoring or minoring in molecular engineering

  • Research opportunities hosted by institutions including universities, national labs, and government agencies, outside of UChicago in an interdisciplinary engineering field
