State Government Trek: Michigan | December 14-15, 2026

• We are excited to host a winter break state government trek to Lansing, Michigan! This two-day immersive experience offers students a unique opportunity to explore careers in public service and gain firsthand insight into how state government operates. Students will meet with professionals from the Michigan Legislative Service Bureau and other state government offices to learn about the policymaking process, legislative research, public administration, and how their skills can translate to an internship or full-time job in local government.

Local Research Trek: Fermilab - Batavia, IL | March 11, 2027

• Join us for a day trip to Fermilab in Batavia, IL, one of the world's leading centers for particle physics and national security-adjacent research. Students will meet with staff and learn about career paths at the intersection of science, technology, and government. This trek is a great opportunity for students interested in national labs, federal research careers, or the government and security sector.

Spring Break 2027 Government, Policy & Security Trek: Washington, D.C. | March 15-17, 2027

• We are excited to host a spring break government, policy and security 2.5 day trek to Washington, D.C.! This is a unique opportunity to engage with employers and alumni in Washington, D.C. and learn more about career pathways in government, policy and national security.

• Students will also have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive AI policy competition during the trek, working in groups to research and present a policy proposal related to AI while engaging directly with an employer partner.

• Students participating in the Washington, D.C. trek will have the opportunity to join us for a 1.5 day social impact trek to Innisfree Village in Crozet, VA from March 17-18!

• We are excited to host a state government trek to Springfield, IL! This two-day trek is a great opportunity to meet with government and policy employers in Springfield, such as the Illinois House of Representatives, Illinois Treasurer's Office, and the Illinois Governor's Office. Students will be able to jumpstart networking for internship and full-time opportunities in public service. All majors and class years are encouraged to attend!
