AI-Enabled Investment Pitch Lab
Students are required to attend all four sessions if accepted into the course
Students will be accepted into the full course and are expected to attend all sessions if admitted. Apply here by September 20!
Students will learn how public-markets and fundamental investment firms evaluate companies, develop investment views, and use stock pitches in recruiting and competition settings. The session will introduce strategies for sourcing potential ideas and using AI-enabled tools to identify themes, screen companies, compare businesses, and generate research questions.
Participants will learn how to conduct rigorous company, industry, and market research using financial statements, regulatory filings, earnings materials, investor presentations, industry sources, news, and other relevant information. The session will also explore how AI can support research synthesis, competitor analysis, source discovery, and the identification of knowledge gaps while emphasizing source verification and independent judgment.
Teams will develop a differentiated investment thesis supported by financial analysis, valuation, catalysts, risks, and key business drivers. Participants will learn how to organize evidence, test assumptions, develop supporting models, and translate their research into a clear and defensible investment recommendation.
Teams will present their investment pitches to a panel of judges and receive feedback on their research, thesis, analytical support, risk assessment, and delivery. The session will simulate the expectations of external stock-pitch competitions and public-markets recruiting processes. Following the program, selected teams may refine and submit their materials to relevant competitions and firms.
