Consulting Immersion Experience
This four-part consulting immersion is designed for upperclassmen interested in exploring consulting careers through a hands-on, team-based case experience. Across four in-person sessions, students will work in small groups to understand a simulated client challenge, conduct research and analysis, develop recommendations, and present their final solutions. The series is intended to give students a practical introduction to the consulting problem-solving process while building skills in structured thinking, teamwork, analysis, and client communication.
Note: Students should register for all four sessions.
Registration
Students will be introduced to the consulting case, client context, and core business challenge. Teams will work together to clarify the client’s objectives, identify the key questions that need to be answered, and begin structuring their approach to the problem.

Students will explore relevant industry research, review provided data, and begin identifying trends, insights, and potential drivers of the client’s challenge. Teams will develop early hypotheses and determine what evidence is needed to support or refine their thinking.
Registration
Students will translate their analysis into actionable recommendations for the client. Teams will pressure-test their solutions, organize their findings into a clear storyline, and begin preparing a concise final presentation.

Student teams will deliver their final recommendations as if presenting to a consulting client. Participants will receive feedback on their problem-solving approach, analysis, communication, and presentation style, followed by a reflection on how the experience connects to consulting recruiting and career readiness.
