We are excited to offer industry-specific specialized tracks perfect for students who want to dive deeper into a specific business area through a series of workshops aimed at building skills, engaging with employer partners, and gaining recruiting insights.
Eligibility
Class Year: Open to students in their 2nd-4th year of study.
Commitment Required: Participants must attend all sessions and events to remain in their specialized-track cohort. This program is designed as a cohort-style experience, where consistent participation builds community and shared learning.
Active Engagement: Students are expected to contribute to discussions, activities, and collaborative projects throughout the year.

Finance Tracks
The finance industry offers a dynamic environment where professionals manage investments, analyze market trends, and advise clients on financial strategies, playing a critical role in global markets and economic development.
Investment Banking & Private Equity
Key track activities include:
Workshops focused on understanding industry dynamics, using financial data to build enterprise valuations, and preparing for the competitive recruiting process.
Financial modeling training series covering DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis.
Technical interview prep with practice questions and mock interviews.

The venture capital community provides early and growth stage capital to entrepreneurs and startups to help them transform their ideas into high-growth, scalable, and commercially viable businesses. UChicago students are a great fit for roles in venture capital investing. Entrepreneurship is the process of creating, launching, and managing a new business venture. It encompasses the skills and vision needed to identify opportunities, develop products or services, and build a successful enterprise.
