Nonprofit Legal Advocacy
UChicago students often follow their passions into nonprofit legal advocacy. Whether they focus on a specific subject matter (i.e., environmental or civil rights) or support a particular population, nonprofit advocacy can provide an interdisciplinary legal career that makes an impact in communities. Nonprofit advocacy often involves a mix of legal, policy, and client-services work. This sector encompasses organizations across the country and world.
