Government Service

Many UChicago students choose to pursue legal careers in government service. These positions can include judicial, prosecutorial, and administrative roles. Government service often provides a fast-paced work environment where lawyers can progress quickly and apply skills early in their careers. These jobs are located in every jurisdiction, with federal administrative jobs concentrated in Washington, D.C.

UChicago undergrads have interned and accepted post-graduate jobs with a wide range of government service agencies, including:
