Financial Markets Program
The UChicago Financial Markets Program is a three-year program to prepare students for careers in quantitative finance, including: proprietary trading, market making, quantitative research at hedge funds, high-frequency trading, and sales & trading at investment banks.
Participants will develop exceptional quantitative finance, statistics, computer science and data science skills through a structured curriculum of programming. Students will also meet and network with employers to understand career paths and opportunities in the industry.
Through the Financial Markets Program, students have ample opportunities for hands-on learning experiences, particularly through the annual UChicago Trading Competition, the nation’s premier algorithmic trading competition.
